Notary attestation is an additional security measure to “attest” the identity of the English Turkish translator that worked on your document. Between the credentials/qualifications attested by the translator and the authenticity of the translator’s identity as certified by a notary public, receiving party knows that they can rely on that particular English Turkish translation.

Notary attestation of translations naturally involves the services of a notary public. I work with various notaries here in the UK. I also have a liaison office in Turkey, which can arrange the notarisation of English Turkish translations in Turkey (in case you need it for Turkish authorities). Notary fees vary based on the length of text, page count and subject matter (i.e. contracts/anything of value may be subject to stamp duties etc.). I realised that Haluk Aka was an experienced Chartered Linguist therefore I have chosen him among other options. He quickly responded to my email that emphasised the urgency but sent very late. He sent me documents covering important information regarding his qualifications etc in addition to a perfect translation around 7am the next morning via email which was impressive.
